In the midst of life's trials, I've found myself contemplating the profound nature of God's love. Unlike human love, which can be as changeable as the weather, God's love remains steadfast, unwavering, and faithful. This reflection isn't born from idle curiosity but from the real-life challenges that test our faith.

The Bible, in Lamentations 3:22-23, offers a powerful testament:

The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

This scripture invites us to embrace the eternal nature of God's love. Even when we are inconsistent, His love remains constant, His mercies fresh each day. Psalms 25:10 reinforces this message:

All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.

This past week, marked by family illness and the resultant stress, has been a testament to this truth. Despite my own fluctuations in mood and faith, God's love has been my anchor, His mercies my daily sustenance.
